The part of the Veil Nebula supernova remnant shown in this image is the eastern section, NGC 6992/5. The thinner part that curves upward is NGC 6992. The box-shaped object below it is NGC 6995. (4-inch Takahashi FSQ-106EDX refractor, SBIG ST-8300M CCD camera, three hours of exposures through Hydrogen-alpha and RGB filters)
