How to use Astronomy.com's StarDome Plus

Astronomy magazine subscribers have access to a slew of cool functions in StarDome Plus. Senior Editor Rich Talcott explains some of the highlights.
In this video, Astronomy magazine Senior Editor Richard Talcott explains how to use the advanced features of Astronomy.com's interactive star chart StarDome Plus. It has all the features of the regular StarDome, but adds lots more.

With StarDome Plus, Astronomy magazine subscribers can access more than 9,000 stars and 800 deep-sky objects. You can see 3-D orbital views of the solar system's planets, comets, and asteroids. You can track the moons of Jupiter and Saturn and the shadow paths of solar eclipses on an map of Earth. StarDome Plus has many more features than we can show in a short video, so it's worth exploring yourself.

To access StarDome Plus, you need to be a subscriber to Astronomy magazine, and you will need to register with our website.

StarDome Pus is a Java applet, so to use it, you will need to set your web browser to enable Java content.
