Open cluster M47, emission nebula IC 410, and the Running Man Nebula (NGC 1973/5/7)

January 9–16, 2014: Open cluster M47 in Puppis is an excellent target for naked-eye and binocular observers, emission nebula IC 410 in Auriga offers small-telescope owners nice views, and large-telescope owners can seek out the Running Man Nebula (NGC 1973/5/7) in Orion.
