How to use Astronomy.com's interactive star chart StarDome

Senior Editor Richard Talcott shows off all the cool features that can help you observe the night sky with Astronomy.com's StarDome.
By Richard Talcott
In this video, Talcott discusses how to use Astronomy.com's interactive star chart — StarDome. It's an easy way to navigate the sky from anywhere on planet Earth, at any time, and on any date. You get a graphical view of the sky and detailed information on more than 2,500 stars, planets, deep-sky objects, and selected asteroids and comets. StarDome is a Java applet, so to use it, you will need to set your web browser to enable Java content.
