HiOptic Photography
On August 21, 2017, the Moon took its first bite out of the Sun over Gallatin, Tennessee, at 11:59am. At 1:27pm, a totality lasting 2 minutes 39.5 seconds began, and HiOptic Photography was there to catch it.
Below, you can view the final video compilation of the results, which combined a full frame DSLR camera with a vehicle-mounted mast to capture both wide shots of the sky and excited eclipse-goers during totality, as well as some fantastic close-ups of the eclipsed Sun throughout the event.
