In the June issue of Astronomy, imager Thomas V. Davis of Inkom, Idaho, gave us a look at the region around emission nebula NGC 2170, which lies in the constellation Monoceros the Unicorn. To find NGC 2170’s area, draw a line southeast (to the lower left) from Orion’s Belt, and continue the line 3 times the belt’s width.
