There’s a great opportunity to view Neptune tomorrow, and Slooh observatory has just the right seat for you to see it: from the comfort of your couch or computer chair.Neptune was the first planet predicted before it was discovered. Urbain le Verrier predicted the planet based on its subtle tug on Uranus, with observers finding it just a few months later in 1846.
The show will include special guests, information about Neptune, and the fourth-largest planet in fantastic view. We’ve only visited Neptune once in 1989 as Voyager 2 headed out of the outer solar system. Of course, there are plans to go back, but for now, a telescope may be the best view of the mysterious world. You can watch Slooh’s show live here or at the video below. The show starts at 7 p.m. EDT.
