Chiradeep Chhaya, imaged from Deep Sky West, New Mexico
The dark nebula Barnard 37 in Monoceros is surrounded by a entourage of reflection nebulae in this scene — most prominently IC 447 (at lower left), which is visually connected by a trail of dark dust (LDN 1607) to IC 446. NGC 2245/7 are another pair of reflection nebulae at top center. The imager used a one-shot color camera to take 20 hours of exposure with a 6-inch scope.
