Partly cloudy skies

Emmanuel Delgadillo, taken from Jalisco, Mexico

The Small Sagittarius Star Cloud (M24) is not a single object but rather the nebulous appearance of a section of stars in the Milky Way framed by dust. This starscape is dotted by dark tendrils of dust, the two most prominent of which are Barnard 92/3. This image was taken with seven hours of exposure with a 7-inch scope.
