The Milky Way and, at right, the Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex make a stunning backdrop to this landscape taken in the town of Kotli, Himachal Pradesh, in northern India. The imager used a Nikon D5600 and 35mm lens at f/3.2 and took 25 sky frames of 120 seconds each at ISO 1600. The foreground was captured at blue hour with three 8-second frames at f/10 and ISO 400.
