The Cassini spacecraft’s Equinox Mission began in July 2008. This extended mission commenced when the 4-year-long primary mission ended in June. The Equinox Mission will follow up on many of the discoveries made during the previous 4 years. And perhaps none of those discoveries surprised planetary scientists more than finding geological activity on the small moon Enceladus.
